Get a little bit of Edenwild-er into your life!
You’ve already experienced the transformation that occurs from coming to Edenwild. It’s time to revisit this beautiful island and recharge once again! Edenwild-er is designed for our “returners.” We will revisit a few of the lessons learned from your time at Edenwild and continue to create more fun, memories, and art together. The format for Edenwild-er will be similar to Edenwild, but with new art lessons to continue your growth as a person and as an artist.
After an amazing breakfast, mornings will be art focused and the afternoons are yours for exploring the island and the Lopez Island way of life. Enjoy hiking, riding bikes, strolling along the rocky beaches, canoeing or your personal idea of relaxing. Join the Edenwild-er community at dinner for excellent conversation and amazing food!
As you board the ferry from Anacortes to Lopez Island, you can feel the stress of your life fall away and in no time you will move into a relaxed state of “island time!” Lopez Island is known at the “Friendly Isle” and it really lives up to its name - let it work its magic on you!
Welcome to Edenwild Inn, a Victorian inn owned by Crystal and Anthony! Enjoy your stay in one of the nine beautifully styled boutique rooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. You'll discover intimate details that will make you feel at home from the homemade chocolate chip cookies to the basket full of cozy blankets next to the fireplace. Our group will have the whole entire Inn to ourselves so if hanging out in your pj’s Of course, there are also luxurious treats that will transport you away from home like the lovely crystal decanter of brandy and chocolates provided in each room. The inn, like the island, is filled with serenity, charm, and a sweet sense of friendliness.
If all of this doesn’t sound lovely enough, let me add that the food will be a culinary sensation! Your mornings will start with fresh homemade pastries lovingly created by Jackie, a graduate from the Culinary Institute of America. Lunches and dinners on the island are also sure to impress - farm-to-table is a way of life on Lopez Island and the food really reflects that. Because this retreat is about feeding all parts of you…body, mind, and soul, we believe eating well is important!
The retreat includes:
~ 4 days and 3 nights at the Edenwild Inn on Lopez Island
~ Painting lessons and all painting, collaging, and journaling materials
~ Accommodations: All rooms are shared occupancy rooms. Each room has an ensuite bathroom.
(You can request a private room for an extra charge of $300).
~ Breakfast and dinner each day & includes coffee, water and tea (all other beverages bring on your own).
Travelers are responsible for ferry fare, lunches, drinks, and all incidentals.
The cost for the retreat is $1,299. Register and pay your $299 deposit by August 17th to qualify for our early-bird discount! You pay only $999 for the entire retreat! Please note that all deposits and payments are nonrefundable.
* Note: Edenwild(er) is a continuation of Edenwild and is open to past Edenwild attendees only. If you have not been to an Edenwild retreat with us before, please sign up for the first retreat.
This will be a small retreat with limited spots available, on a first come, first serve basis. We will have the entire inn to ourselves aside from staff members. Last year during the retreat we spent a lot of time outside hiking, catching the sunsets and enjoying meals together and we plan to do the same this year. We can not wait to see you for another retreat and this precious time together!
**Please note: We will be following the mandates of Lopez Island at the time of this retreat in regards to COVID -19.
