All I Want for Christmas Is an Art Class or … a Trip to Italy?

Last year, guess who was out on December 23rd running around frantically buying things and rushing home to wrap gifts at the last minute?

This girl, right here. Every year, I sound like a broken record repeating, “I’m not doing this again!” But, inevitably, the Christmas season creeps up on me and surprises me.

This year is going to be different. I’m taking a deep breath. It’s only the first week of December, and I’m not going to allow the Christmas season to jump on me unawares again.

As I’m getting older, I’m realizing that what is most important is creating experiences with those I love—including myself! Doing new things, learning new hobbies, and being creative is maybe the best gift because it lasts a lifetime. If you are like me and would like to experience the holidays a little differently this year, consider adding a gift card or a membership from Elida Art Studio to your Christmas list—for you or for your favorite people!

Or sign up for an art class with a friend or family member.

You could also go really big this year and sign-up for an international tour! Give yourself the experience of a lifetime! Italy and Croatia itineraries and signup is launching for December 14th...

I’m celebrating twelve days of Christmas by sharing a different art piece each day from my latest series of work until December 25. If you’d like to get a sneak peak of what I’m working on …

If you’re interested in giving the beautiful gift of fine art, buy an original or print and I will personally gift wrap it for you with a lot of love, saving you the hassle and time of trying to wrap it! AND it comes with a custom card to personalize it.

Regardless of whether you choose any of these ideas, make sure your Christmas season is full of rich experiences— look into hobbies, travels or time with loved ones rather than just buying more things. Try it and see how you feel because I bet you’ll talk for years about a trip to Italy and forget what you got for Christmas this year. Live big and bold!
